Like many good looking people, this guy leads a double life. He's a brigand general and a Roman Equestrian tax farmer. I dunno, I thought it was interesting enough to share. I tried to bribe him so I could have a Roman in my Pergamon forces but as you can see I didn't really try hard enough to and didn't have enough money to get a general that good. Maybe I should have force diplomacied it.

Didnt you say battles on vh will be really hard? I didnt have any uber awsome units and still the result is like this, 4 carthago armies taken out in two turns and still having 70% soliders left.

I doubt somehow whether the Carthaginian armies had 2 armies with 13 elite units in one and 11 silver upgraded units in the other.

So to have hard battles I should not upgread my units and use more light units? umad?
Those brows spearmen are elite units? in your spain colony you can buy them from the third opidum not from the last one...
Theyr armies were composed mainly of those late and early spearmens. What I see the reason of such pownages is that the AI completely lacks skill in 2v2 battles...

    No not saying that.
Which campaign are you playing BTW? One turn or zero turn?

...and I'm not quite sure what point you're trying to make either....that you're better than the AI even on VH? Of course you'll win some battles even on VH. But for the vast majority of players, and you've already proved that you're better than most, playing on VH in RS2 is too much of a challenge and is likely to result in quite a few defeats.

Ok I understand, I was just a bit disappointed.
When I saw you all saying RSII will be finally a challange on h/vh, I was like "super imba great this will be uber awsome". And than I saw it is super duper simple if you are using all the possibilities the game offers... I started this new campaign without taxation and without rural controll. It was quite fine turn/income is down to 50% so I was happy again, but than these battles vs carthago showed me oh ok need to do more limitations...

Maybe you need to cut your Roman temple benefits?

Eh?, you mean temple of ceres right? those massive cheap tax bonusses it gives, other temples give only happiness except the trade one, If im correct there are no temples giving experience or weapons/armor at least not for rome.

Not actually as unlikely as you may think as there is evidence of Carthaginian interaction with the British Isles around this period.
