Yep, just add the mp3 to the sounds folder in the normal data folder and then edit the desc_sounds_music in the desired factions data folder.

After playing both EB and this mod quite a bit, I had a question for the devs. I apologize in advance if this questions was already asked (perhaps ad nauseum).
Why did Epeiros not make it into the major factions list? Did you feel that Epeiros historically didn't contribute as much as, say, Pergamon did? After switching from this to EB and now maybe switching back to this, I've gotta say that Epeiros has been one of the most fun and difficult campaigns I've played on the Rome engine. I figure that Epeiros would create a terrific balance between the Macedons and the Romans. I've actually considered learning how to mod and adding this faction in over Sparta, Free Barbarians, or Roman Rebels. (Never felt the Romans needed their own rebel faction) Is there possibly a way I can do this without totally disrupting the balance?
Thanks guys

Hi RS Team
How do you use government determination buildings correctly in campaign when playing rome ? When conquering a province do you leave things as there are or do you have to build government determination and decide what to do either annex or client state. I usually dont do anything. I wondered what the right way is.
Personally, as I try and play along historical lines, I use the Client/Allied state for certain places that became client states or allies, and then as the timeline moves on, I Annex them to my direct control. Most places were simply taken, though - Carthage, Gaul and Spain, for example, were more or less simply conquered rather than made clients, so I annex those straight away.

Thank you that helps. I shall follow your advice
Where and when can I build the mercenary building in Carthage?
Hey guys!
This is my first time reaching the Imperial Reforms for the 2.1 patch.
The problem i have is that i can no longer train troops (legionaries) in any city except Rome. I have read building descriptions and i really don't see what i have to do in order to train them
The Roman Oppidum, Provincial (which i never built this campain as i didn't think i needed it) description says will allow me to train Roman Antesignati and Legatus Legionis, but what about Roman Legionary? I would even be happy if i could train Allied Legionaries
Thanks a lot!
Thanks!
how about building the next oppidum/barrack (Field of Mars/Roman Fortress) ?
if you did not built the oppidums you are screwed now as they are the base for the roman fortress...
without roman fortress no numbered legions...
and there is no such thing as allied legionaries after the reforms...just numbered legions and the generic legionaries...now saying that maybe you can train the generic ones since oppidum lvl3 ( not sure about this as in my last campagin I had all oppidums in place) but you would still need 27 turns to just get the generic ones....
making the sum...if I remember right its like the following...
oppidum lvl1 6 turns
oppidum lvl2 9 turns
oppidum lvl 3 12 turns
field mars 14 turn
makes 41 turns before recruiting numbered legions....congrats...you screwed your game
sorry for the bad news....

talking about bad news...
Actually, it takes much less, it's 2 turns for lvls 1 & 2 and 4 turns for lvl3 oppidum. I'm playing 0 turn, maybe cause of that.
tried it in New Carthage, though, and after finishing lvl 3 of oppidum i could not build fortress/field of mars that means still no legions. Is this normal?
I don't know what the requirements for fortress/field of mars are, as they don't show up in the building tree (in Rome i could build field, and it was not in tree as well)
and just to be sure i understood right, in order to get generic legionnaires, i need field of mars/fortress, right?
thanks for the help
Thanks for the help, guys. It's good i saved before the reforms, canceled the palace and delayed them.
Also, I don't want to criticize or smth, but I feel a lil bit of inconsistency here. In order to train troops before the reforms, you need the "Client or allied state" and that is kind of strange. In my opinion, it made more sense the way it was done in 2.0, where the oppidum was the required building for training.
Also, and a question...can weapons be upgraded to +3 anywhere on the map?
Thanks,
Chris
