Well... now that my Galaecci campaign gone hell, and I've started another one with Pergamus (and will play with them until I ****** up everything again) I've found an interesting fact: super-populous cities DOESN'T increase your tax income. Every single one of my cities in Iberia had the population over 20k, and I had to expend a lot to keep all these people happy. Also, my generals started to become corrupted when ruling over then. But now, cities without forced grown measures are giving, at least, the same amount as the super-populous ones from Iberia. I thought that more people = more tax money, but it just brought me problem. I don't even need that much population, since I play in normal unit sizes...

I will try to make a more elaborate theory latter about this.

I usualy use growth measures if a city is depopulating only. Suburbs and the likes for fighting squalor. i tend to control taxing by keeping people happy so i can apply high taxing. So instead of more people=more money i act like more happiness=more taxes=more money.

ok, this is going to sound well.... kinda dumb for asking, but many people now have Rome total war gold eddition for the mac, and so far two bog mods, Europa Barbarorum and RTR have managed to make .dmg files of their game so people who only have a mac but have Rome can play their amazing mods, and I was really hoping that Roma Surrectum 2 could do the same. I have been trying to do it manually to no avail, if anybody knows how to do it could they help me out, or Do you think there will ever be any possibility that RS2 could come to the mac?
Wil you play the game? the game of thrones.

I try to save at the very least 30k each turn for building up my cities, but 50k is my optimal. Dude, if you are using more than 45k in your army, you are probably doing something wrong.

You need to add a zero or two to your figures.

Well... bloody hell, Ferdiad. To think I've got all proud for taking the Iberian Peninsula or taking control over all Galatia, you do this to me. You make me fell so small, and your avatar is a bloody rabbit with half an oreo (can't see right) upon it's head. Edit: It's kinda cute. And it just adds salt to the injure.

You already posted it in the empire's thread? If you did so, show me the link to your post? And how you managed to got your trade so high? Trading centers? Temples? Historic trading routes? The highest I've ever got was a little over 10k, with SPQR...

First off, it's a rabbit with a pancake. Yeah I posted it in the two Empires threads, no idea where though. Idn about trade, you just get a lot of trade when you have a lot of cities. I'll make a new post in the empires thred tonight after I figure out what the hell I was doing a few months ago.
    EDIT:
It's a good thing I triggered the Reforms for the Romans early, they're my only competitor it seems.

1st of all thanks to the whole RS2 team!
ive enjoyed this mod for quite some time now, but it always bothered me that the swap factions were only 0-turn rec.
does the team plan on releasing them as a playable 1-turn campaign for those of us who prefer that type of gameplay?
or is anyone with experience willing to do this? either way its just a suggestion.

    Thank you!

I am changing units' figures to make the pace of battles faster since I don't have much time to play everyday .Anyway, I have decreased defence a bit in rome folder and what about those in others ? I know the unit file in rome folder is adjusted from others but are the files for the rest countries' the same ? I wonder if I can change one and then copy the it to others
