Continue the campaign! I've never seen the Greeks do so well before. Get the numbered legions and use the archers and pilla to destroy the falxmen.
Hello everybody!
I have decided to build Economic and Fortified Regions in my settlements. Now when I have one Fortified Region built in a settlement I see that I have a building which let's me recruit mercenaries. Is that what I get from Fortified Regions or is there any other benefit? If that building with mercenaries is what I get I see no reason to build more Fortified Regions because the stats to those mercenaries don't seem to be better than what my own units have.
hi fellow RSII fans can anyone point me to a topic where the conquerer treats are listed. thanx

just had my first battle against towered elepfants of carthago
damn that was no fun at all, always thought javelins kill elephants
but no way, used 3x lybian skirmichers against 1 unit of
elephants they just killed 3of72 all the rest of them killed my whole legion of 3500 men.
but hey i had to wipe out carthage wen they where not that strong
its ok that the are verry hard to beat but i hope javelins have more effect in2.6
Hi, I was wondering (aka "this is a noob question"), is possible for a greek faction (for example Sparta) being capable of recruiting all the regional unit (like the Boiotian Pezhetaroi, the Achaian Xistophoroi or the Athenian Epilektoi)?
as unit recruitable from barracks, not field mercenaries
just a suggestion.. may not be possible but would it be possible to make all units re trainable everywhere? not recruit able but retrainable so as to simulate replenishment... would it be possible, and if so, how?
We are working on it.
I'm not sure Sparta specifically can, but if you play as the Greek cities, you can recruit, for instance Spartan troops in Sparta.
I think the system of recruitment in RS is based on AOR (Area of Recruitment), where units are recruitable in a specific area. To alter that to make units available everywhere, would mean all the factions would have access to all the units. You don't want that, don't you? Besides I don't think that could be done ... you'd have 500 units in the recruitment queue!

Yes but they also become recruitable and that was the point for Raphael.
