So does anyone know anything about Mod Realms? It's been down since July and I can't find any info about what happened.

Hey, anyone of you UK users have any decent game selling sites? I have a bunch of older games I want to sell, some old and probably not worth much, some like Modern Warfare and MW2 may be more likely to sell. I know I can try e-bay of course, anyone know of any others? These are all PC games so Game and HMV don't buy them.

guys i want to say this mod is awesome..but since all threads here are specific about certain subjects and saying that "this mod is awesome" there will be off topic..so i posted this here...

is there a link for Sparta campaign discussion...hmm the game is awesome but the one turn campaign is so easy for me, even with vh/vh, is the 0 turn really harder ?!!

Also, H/VH is harder than VH/VH because of a bug with VH campaign that the AI don't get bonuses which CA didn't bothered to fix

The 0-turn should be harder for the player of the Roman faction as there are a number of scripted rebellions - one at the start and one later after you've got 85 regions.

The 1-turn campaign is not as balanced as the 0-turn campaign - see dvk901's seperate thread on that.

The other thing with the 0-turn campaign is that battles are not so decisive for the AI if they lose the battle as it's easy to just raise another army in a turn or two. With 1-turn any large loss in a battle can be more decisive as it would take longer to replaced the losses. As a game I much prefer 1-turn recruitmenet. However, it's rare for the human player to lose a battle to the AI so the advantage really is with the human player because of that.

this is the best part of the game..i lose my elite army in any battle..i go crying starting a new campaign..every battle is a line between victory and failure...

Just installed Comic Sans Be Gone which replaces all occurrences of the Comic Sans MS font on any web page with the Helvetica font to improve readability to safari.

Were you savaged by a rabid Comic Sans font at some point? why the hatred? it's just a font, a misunderstood and unloved font.

Obviously, I have put this in Comic Sans but you will not be able to see, such a shame

Because it's the most ridiculous font ever. People has miss used to far to much. Even the creator of it dislikes it.

Well I don't know about most ridiculous ever, there are some pretty silly fonts out there! Impact is pretty much illegible

I use Verdana, I have to admit, once upon a time I used Comic Sans - but after a while, it just looks stupid trying to write a sensible email in it - which proves your point I guess

I presume you also now know where the term 'Pyrrhic victory' come from (and why it's known as such)?

This book is worth a read: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Pyrrhus-Epir...sr=8-1-catcorr

    A great article.
It explains why people like me hate it. Not because of the font it self but because of the horrible ways it's has been and still is used in.

The only time i dont like comic sans is if its used for things like coursework and reports- its not professional enough and i die a little inside every time i see it happen.

Would you read a newspaper or even a blog with only Comic Sans?

I feel just thinking about it.
