Epic.
I'll have to start saving up now for a particularly good computer to play this on.
Well then.....
That gives us only a few months left to get things just right - and present a real alternative....
Especially if Rome II comes out tied to the ever-to-be-damned 'Steam'
If I buy a game I want to be able to play it and not have to sign-up to some intrusive big brother - let alone the fact that the games run best on a standalone......grrrrrrrr
"RTW/RS VH campaign difficulty is bugged out (CA bug that never got fixed) and thus easier than Hard so play on that instead" - apple
RSII 2.5/2.6 Tester and pesky irritant to the Team. Mucho praise for long suffering dvk'.
Oh me god! ROME 2!
Not sure how i feel about reduced micromanagement, with the deal of managing entire regions instead of individual towns.
Excellent!
Let's see if they can do better than tone.

Will the level of realism reach RS2?
The map going further east? Uuuhhh are we going into India?!
"We’re … trying to focus attention on a much smaller number of armies and a smaller number of more significant battles”
This makes me happy.
Also not sure how to feel about naval battles . They could work for a later period where this type of battles moved on to a style fighting that relied more on distance, but on early classical era it was all about ramming, which would make battles rather fast than we'd think.
Dammit, ur-Lord Tedric got them too."We’re … trying to focus attention on a much smaller number of armies and a smaller number of more significant battles”
I haven't had the time to have a look at the info, in which year does it start, if it's known?

Definitely but it won't be until next year so what they are showing is just a 10 minute scripted battle, probably need to wait a few more months to get the first real glimpses.

Sure.
Still, I wonder if we're going to see screenshots from RS or another mod mistaken for Rome 2. Would be fun.
