I will tell you this, Goth was often used back then in meaning of " christian barbarians", as Goths were arian heretics

so some Goths could have been Slavs

for instance, some early medieval historians for Croats say that this is people of Croats which some ( other historians i suppose) also call Slavs or Goths
this is actualy base for "Gothic theory" of origin of Croats

most of the text is BS, but they did made some good observations which deserve further research

The main problem of this kind of craps is that they usually stick to some 17th or 16th century authors like Mauro Orbini and totally and intentionally neglect entire development of historical science from then to present day. To compare that is like someone would insist on medical treatment using exclusively medicine knowledge of 17teen century.

The first thing they teach us on University is to question the qualifications of the author. If you look up on this ,,scientists'' you'll see that none of them are historians or archeologists. And they all claim to research the topic for 20 years. ALL BULL... waste of paper and ink.
