So you need to make a thread a bout it?
Learn basic game concepts before posting for every single thing you don't understand. You accepted to be someone's vassal, by medieval terms, you became someone's bi*ch. /sarcasmon Enjoy it. /sarcasmoff

Becoming a vassal means that you lost the game since you lost your independence.

How is that a bad thing? It generaly means though that two kingdoms have united?

you better make it a poll then
Well this depends on the view. But if i remember correctly you lost the game in Medieval II
vanilla, when you become a vassal of someone - with the "Game over" loosing video. It sounds
like you didn't get the "defeat" video. Maybe someone should check the loosing conditions.
But to sum it up you don't really have any advantage from being a vassal, i think. But it would
be great if you could try it out yourself and tell us. things like taxes, tributes, alliance stances,
income of both your and the dwarven faction.

A Personal Union is when two nations are united under a single ruler, but remain separate nations.

A Vassal keeps their own ruler (or a puppet ruler) but pays tribute to their overlord.

There is no benefit to becoming vassal other than maybe they won't attack you, but only until you have rebuilt your army and can defeat them.
First: two kingdoms haven't really united, they took some kind of controll over you, parts of your income will go to them etc...
Second: He is right, you should be here long enough to FINALLY know that you should use the "Ask Question Thread" for minor questions !!!!
I'm sick of telling that.
Don't tell me you haven't opened a new thread for a long time, i'll list only some of the last ones you only opened since june and half of them would have belonged to the "AQThread":

Why be like that? Of course he is going to make a thread about it, he doesn't understand it. And how else is he supposed to learn it? Vassals are hardly basic game concepts anyway it hardly pops up in normal games of Medieval. Either help or don't post simple.
now when i think of this: can the AI become my vassal?(i get some of his income etc etc)

ok then... (right when i thought of a way to boost my economy!)
EDIT: oh! and what are those conditions to get this option in the diplomatic scroll? (i just want to test it, never saw this option in my games before)

Agreed.
Though personally if I were playing as the Dwarves I would get some satisfaction from making the Elves become the vassals for my imperialistic ambitions of domination and racial supremacy and domination by the almighty Dwarves. Naturally I would betray and ethnically cleanse those pesky Elves. Stunted greedy stubborn types ftw.
From what I read a while back the faction needs to be down to very few regions (one maybe?).
