    thanks King Sama if it was upto me i would let you
    anyway have re worked some of the models helmets still got a bit of texturing todo on them and resize the helmet on the hastati etc but my legionaire centurian and standard bearer about done heres a few screen shots of them all fighting a celtic warrior in some who i am still working on hope you like them

    that looks amazing i dont really do this much but +rep do the shields work also are u going to add the Sassanids(persians) in the afghanistan region and indian factions also add the ancient maya, aztec factions in later, LATER!!! versions

    Hi thanks Shugo560 should imagine the Sassanids(persians) will be in it as a major faction but tc will hopefully let us know what factions . Yes the shields work TC has put them in equipment file and load good no probs , though he has only so far put roman sword and shield in it .
    Heres a few early screen shots of my celtic models the shields on these i have done by assigning to the figure rather than TC method which is a lot better though at moment only got the one shield in the equip files so this my compremise.

    So, can we hear some more plans for this? Is this going to be EB release style or maybe a custom battle mod first? Or somewhere in between?

    Seeing as Topcat most likely won't be working on this anymore (), are there still plans for the mod to continue? It would be a real shame to see this die.

    Hi King Sama i think the mod was very much in its starting stages getting team together . Not even sure if TC had managed to put together a team for it.
    But i have asked TC if he would let me continue on it and release what has been done so far as just a skin pack mod for custom battles , and he has said yes
    i can do skin packs unit model mods though i would not beable to complete what TC set out to do. So at least what has been done will see light of day .
    I most likly will do skin pack for the romans and celts seing as i have a few models done already for it .
    And just to prove i am continuing on making models for it heres a screen shot in 3ds max of my latest helmet for a celtic chieftan.

    Keep it up mate! Not that I'm able to mod ETW at all... but you should consider advertising the mod here and hopefully you'll generate some high class interest! I have to ask though- do you think you'll be able to add non mo-captured animations for 2+v1 animations. Because otherwise the romans and their gladius' may struggle vs barbarians with longswords!

    hi thanks the mod itself is on hold tc is taking time off from etw modding.
    I was going todo a unit skin pack for romans and celts that about the limit of my modding skills
    .any way pic of my celtic chieftan hat in game.

    Considering the initial plan is just a unit mod, it should be relatively easy to import to NTW right? I could probably manage to do that by myself.

    Also, can't wait until the first release. Even without the campaign this mod is looking fantastic

    hi guys thanks for the comments , my last pack i manged to make 26 new models and get them uploaded here just under 50mb so will be aiming todo the same , as to how many units not sure yet a lot will depend on what i can do with animations . At the moment easy to sword shield , two handed axe , arches cavalry but i will be off for a week soon and hopefully will be able to have a more closer look at them and if lucky be able to bring in slingers and spear thrower animations think throwing axe might work but also i am going to look into if possible to bring the rome total war ones in .
    sorry for the delay been bit busy but have done a few new models and been working on the textures of the others i have already done ,heres a couple of screen shots of them in milkshape roman general and celtic model.

    hi i have managed to get roman pilium in game as a projectile, with a little help from Kungfuserge . At the moment using native american throwing axe animation , though the melee for them is not the best so trying to add the twrowing part to the sword and shield animation.
    Also have reworked a few textures on units celtic nobles etc though still need to add a few model parts to some and adjust a few shield on some . Have also made a few new models heres a few screen shots of them and the new skins ,also done new celtic chieftan helmet will stll use the other version for his escort , in screen shot of him forgot to adjust the shield on old version not alphed out . Had to adjust the brightness in game for some of the screen shots as was a bit overcast . let me know what you think.
    Also will be starting a new thread in skin packs section in the week as i feel i have hijacked this thread a bit seeing as TC has put this mod overhaul on hold .
