    Yes copy the files in Stainless_Steel_6\Data_Campaigns_1370_1450 to the Stainless_Steel_6\Data folder.

    Been having a good look at 6.3, there doesn't seem to be a huge amount to do to update this submod to integrate with it, slowly making progress with that.

    Which files should I copy? Unit_descr and the "text" folder? Or all of them? There's a faction_standings file as well that doesn't seem to be relevant. Do I need to delete the unit_descr and "text" files that are already in Stainless_Steel_6\Data?

    Just copy them all over, then run the game, the text files will be updated . The faction standings file is the same as the one already in the Data folder so its fine.

    What's the difference between the FILE_TASKS.bat and the FILE_TASKS2.bat files?
    I was re-installing and going over the installation instructions and noticed that, as per PB's post, it appears that you run one file if you have the Aug 12 hotfix and the other if you have the Aug 13 hotfix.
    Am I reading this correct?
    Would it hurt to just run both or does it even matter if I'm doing a complete re-install?

    bat is for the Oct 30 2009 version, and bat2 is for the patch you got since then, I believe. No matter what patch you get since then, you always run bat2 after extracting the files.

    I played a campaign as the Cumans before, and I wasn't able to build ports. Is this on purpose? And if yes, why? Were they that primitive? There are no records of them trading by sea?

    Edit: Also, Zweihander and Doppelsoldner are described in the EDU as "specialist anti-pike" while Sword And Bucker Men are described as "close quarter tactics". Is that the same thing?

    I copied Stainless Steel 6 folder and the File Tasks2 onto the Medieval2 folder but how can I run the game? Should it show in the SS Camaign Setup?

    No, there should be an icon on your desktop. Did you copy the files or extract them?

    I copied them. Think this was the mistake.

    EDIT: Now i extracted them and clicked on Tasks2 but I can't find the icon on my desktop
    File Tasks2 shows up in the medieval2 folder and the Stainless Steel 6 folder shows up in the mods folder.

    PB's RR 1.3, RC 1.8 and SSTC

    Anyone knows why late musketeers have lower attack value than regular ones? :-)

    Because they have newer muskets that take less time to reload.

    The newer muskets are weaker and have a shorter range, but they reload faster and they might be more accurate. Check the projectiles file for that information.

    Yes they are more like a later arquebus, with better powder and a more reliable mechanism. They have been renamed late arquebus. They reload and aim much faster than the musket, which is a very heavy weapon.
