Crusader States new faction icon?

Update: I think I like the blue and gold shield the best personelly. The quartered shield is nice as well, still haven't made up my mind. Will let the poll run on the Stainless Steel website until tomorrow then add the updated shield to a new poll with the top vote getters.

I think the bottom one is too messy, the top one I'd say just try with a gold 'cause it looks too templary in red.

Currently, I think it's between that middle one there, or the previous checked favourite one.

All the designs are great, but I think the cross of the KOJ in red on a white background would represent the CS the best.

I personally like the original flag of the Kingdom of Jerusalem with the golden crosses on the white background, it seems rather, ... holy?
But some other ideas would be to give the golden crosses some texture like on the first two icons, also a red border would look nice. Or back to the gold on a dark background:

could have a black flag (Hospitallers) with a Red Cross (Templars). Or since the majority of the crusaders to the middle east were German, English, and French make a flag combining their three flags, might be too messy though. The Tudor coat of arms infront of a Germanic Eagle.

I like the top one the most, but the bottom one would be better if the bottom left side were fixed a little. I think maybe, change the shape for that faction? if that is possible, that would add a huge dynamic look to the game as well

I like that third option, however the crosses don't seem to be the right color. I was thinking more along the lines of this:



Sorry about the shoddy work. I understand you took the yellow/gold cross from a white background because of brightness, but perhaps you could make the yellow/gold cross a little darker.
