Yet you still suspect him of the murder, that can't be fair?
Plus this is quite a new, 16 year old character, who had not done anything against the king at all.

Well my character died right after a dinner with William and he was the last who saw Max so suspicion would be logical.

It's a 16 year old kid who didn't even know him before the dinner. You're just clutching at straws to justify ooc knowledge.

Well and that sixteen year olds family had been kicked out of their ancestral castle by Max giving him quite a good reason to kill him, then there is the cold hard fact that he wound up dead after dinner with William. Furthermore do you think anyone back in the middle ages would call a sixteen year old a kid?

Just a quick input from me, the King knows nothing of a murder all he is bothered about is the Montgomery`s took the castle when they should not and then refused to leave when asked.

Nobody knows anything about who murdered, you can try and justify your ooc use of knowledge all you want but rules are rules they're there for a reason.

Listen the Montgomery clan were banned from Oxford full stop the King never lifted the ban thus you are breaking the terms set out.

Just because you killed your old char off does not mean i changed my mind about it.

Oxford castle is in Oxfordshire, now the castle at least the old mediaeval one was on the west end of the city. The terms of exclusion were to keep away from Oxford fifty miles north south east and west. Now tell me i am wrong. The Castle falls easily into those boundaries and more so.

I can suspect him all I want.

The Duke is currently not very trusting of Montgomery's right now.

Steward goes missing and found dead---------> Montgomery returns to Oxford at the same time --------> Last known whereabouts of Sir Tot-------> Oxford Castle---------> 2+2+a sprinkle of distrust = Montgomery

No evidence, but suspicions don't need proof.

It's just not good sportsmanship. I don't care anyway because it doesn't affect any of my characters, plus you probably know inside you aren't playing fairly.

I gave you a honest assessment of my characters thoughts. I will not go wildly about with magic knowledge.. But he does have his suspicions, logical or not.

This is also the medieval world, where often times gut was held higher then evidence.

You will not see my character act on any OOC derived knowledge.

Surely that defeats the point of a secret assassination? If you could do that anyone can just go around passing off ooc knowledge as an illogical suspicion.

this is hardly based on only illogical suspicion... but theoretically yes it could be used for that. If you wish to continue this discussion, I suggest we stop cluttering the thread and take it to PM cafe, or whatever.
