Yet Gainsy has just made Alan his main and has got all of the titles that he received when an aux. If this is allowed, then why don't we all make multiple characters and just switch to whichever has the highest rank at any point in time.

I gave him those titles, that is his rolled heir (bastard)

Yeah I didn't exactly spawn him out of thin air... He's been around for sixteen weeks, Rped consistently for four.

Ah, I hadn't realised he was rolled for. I just assumed from the fuss raised by certain people that he wasn't. No problem then

Oh well it's Gainsey who will miss out on the gaining a title part of a character which in my opinion is the most interesting.

aye. And its not even the high ranks that are interesting. When your a freedman, and after four weeks finally get knighted. That has you cheering. Being promoted from earl to duke, on the other hand. Its nice, but not as fun as the lower ones.

Thats why I always end up killing off my high up characters like Dai and Antonio.

I agree with AA here. If the Bishop's speech was going to have no effect, then there should have been some post first before the attack showing the crowd's response, giving AA time to react and chose whether to flee/fight etc. As it was, the Bishop's speech was just ignored.

Also what happens to my character and Patric's characters who were inside? I would certainly want to get out if 2000 men were coming against just 15, but given that I was waiting for a response to the speech, I hadn't posted anything about leaving until after the attack.

This is being discussed at the moment... Tim you are free to go as that is more just a thing about time zones than anything else as you were not there to fight... All the above is being taken into account and a decision will be reached as soon as possible.

    Cheers

This was answered by yourself really.

You weren't counted as being in the battle.

Now, the mods are hashing this out and a final declaration will be posted here soon.

There is no way they can use murder against me, thats the whole point of open secret, how many times does stildawn have to say it about no ic proof.

Its not often i agree with Major, but i do here. Heres the relevent bit of the rules.

The final way to kill someone is a secret open assassination; this is where you get the person alone and then in act an open assassination. The beauty of these is that although it’s an open assassination no other characters in game will actually know that you did it (this assuming that they are following the OOC knowledge rules) and you will not need an escape roll since no one will find the body until after you have left.

    Secret Open Assassination Steps
    1. You must be in the same thread as the person. And you must post and they must acknowledge that you are alone (in a side room, forest, boat really anywhere as long as you post and they acknowledge).
    2. Contact a mod with your reasons as with normal open assassinations above.
    3. Post your assassination attempt in the thread as per normal open assassinations above.
    4. Mod will post the results in the thread.
There is no way you should know about the murder. It was successfully done, and knowing is quite frankly cheating.

Sorry about that bit. I asked Rufus and such.. It was late and I forgot.

My apologies, my character shall act as if there is no proof.
