    Sorry if this has already been answered, but I'm new to M2 and the whole mod scene.

    I'm setting up SS but haven't played it yet, nor am I totally clear on all it's bells and whistles, but so far in vanilla my favorite VT has been the family tree, princesses, heirs, and the related diplomacy. Looking through the sub-mods, I'm wondering if I might be better served just cherry-picking certain mods and foregoing he lumbering beast that is SS, at least for the time being.

    Are the sub-mods vanilla compatible and if not, how much fine-tuning can I do with SS in terms of what's active and what's not?

    they're not vanilla compatible... its probably possible to change some of them yourself if you really wanted to work at it but its most likely not worth it. you should install SS. it's worth it

    Ah, and another question. With the realistic family name mods and whatnot, does that de-randomize when you get kids and who they are and their traits and things? If I play the same faction twice will my family somehow turn out more or less the same?

    Theres a list of First Names and Surnames for the game to pick. So they won't be copycats.

    But Meneth hasn't been active for a while and you'd be better off waiting for the Titanium submod to be released on August 1st (or thereabouts).

    Meneth, my game keeps on crashing eventhough at turn 51, eventhough i extracted the fix to the data folder.

    Thanks!! I've been playing the game for more than a week and I want to continue it from the place where I have saved with SS6.3.
    Do you think I will be able to play the game after installing SS6.4 and its bug fixes?

    no you'll have to start over. but if u didn't install the turn 51 fix for 6.3 your game will stop there anyways with a ctd. Its fixed in 6.4 tho.
