Ultramarines are so overdone! Every ing time I see a marine he's 9 out of 10 a Ultramarine. It's a chapter with a interesting backstory and all but for Slaanesh's sake! There 999 other chapters who deserve mentioning more often!!

the mmo still has a lot to show before i can reasonably side with a 'its ' or 'its cool' view.

personally i disliked a lot of what was shown in the trailer, and some of the information given just prior to e3 - but a (supposed) dev for the game came onto relic forum just after e3 and said most of that information is false so..

My impression from the video is that this will play somewhat like Mass Effect 2, basically a third person shooter with RPG elements. Good or bad? I don't know, it'd be different, though some would cry 'dumbed down'.

I'm most unsure about the developer, while I'm under the impression they're not 'bad', as in they've not made stinkers, it's just that they've not really made all that much so far, Darksiders seems to be their main thing, it being a third person slasher, pure action game. I haven't played Darksiders, but from what I've seen it seems to be somewhat linear and perhaps undercooked, noticed that the 'kill moves' were repeating over and over and over, shows a lack of depth.

I've also read a quote that the development of this mmo is going to be much shorter than other games with some nonsense reason to justify it. I think THQ losses its Warhammer 40k licence within the next couple years, which I take as the real reason. Reasonable to expect this game be rushed.

And I mean real PvP, not instanced, consensual or "Well there are special zones...". It's Warhammer 40k, the lore is intentionally brutal and murky, pretty much every race is engaged in a war with each other. Chaos and the Imperium are religous zealots, the Orks are bloodthirsty monsters, the Necrons are soulless agents of desolation, and the Eldar and Tau are holier-than-thou self-proclaimed superior species.

These combined require full on, no holds barred PvP. Darkfall Online in nature.

the Warhammer Series have the best PVP games. And this Video is an Alpha version, its going to be like WoW, no like Mass Effect 2 (Star war the old republic online is like that game)
