Who was Edward the Black Prince's father, grand father and great grand father? Who was his wife? Who was his important brother? Each of you you answer one of these.

A detail from a rather famous painting, shouldn't be hard.

Who was Edward III's father and grand father, which was one of his famous sons who ruled as regent to Richard II, who was Edward the Black prince's wife (mother of Richard II).

The guy in the picture is English? You say it is a famous picture but I have never seen it. I'm thinking it's Dudley, the queen's mistress (did I say that right?).

Famous 18th century actor and theatre manager David Garrick as Richard III. I'll pass my turn.

Just to recap! - Edward III's grandfather and father were Edward I and II respectively, his son who ruled as regent of Richard II was the fabled John of Gaunt, whilst Richard II's mother and wife of the Black Prince was Joan of Kent!

And since you guys love guessing so much and Vizvii has passed his turn, I will throw in another picture, should be quite a challenge this one (I hope) -

Well I did say that you could only guess one, but no one was guessing anyway so whatever.

It's alright. I gave you rep anyway. I'll need time to pick a guy but I can't think of any.

    Correct, very impressive!

Peter the Hermit - a French radical priest who helped instigate the fervour for the First Crusade and accompanied the armies all the way to Jerusalem, claiming Jesus asked him in a vision to preach the Crusades.
