Here's how they stack up in my mind
1st (And my vote) is Number 5, for it's detailed and realistic prolague, it's great soundtrack, for the glory and carnage of the bombardment scene, and the bloody aftermath gives this one the top spot. All those poor British soldiers...
2nd (and very close one at that) is Number 7, with it's amazing message, the best soundtrack of the lot, and stunning pictures, The scenes were great but not as good as number 5, which is why I put this one as the runner-up. 3rd (I would love to sit on the sidelines for this battle) is number 8, as far as battles go, this one takes the cake, with the glorious charge of the Gondorian cav and the slaughter afterwards, the battle alone gets this one the bronze.
Honorable mentions go to...
Number 2: An honorable mention goes to this because it's strengths are exactly why it's not in the top 3, but it's good anyways.
Number 2 gets the first one because of the great battle scenes, however many there are, on the other hand, I wish that it would just stick to one and go for it. And the blood effects are really good! On the other hand, it sometimes gets a bit too gory for my tastes.
and the other one was a very close one between number 1 and 9, number one had the great voice over, but number 9 was actually more of a re-enactment (Which I also really like) so it was a really close race, and the other honorable mention goes to.....
number 9!!!
9 gets it because of it's authentic voice over and scenario, just like in J.R.R Tolkien's book, it would have probably placed a little higher if it had revealed a little more, instead of leaving it in a huge cliffhanger at the beginning.
