Icon starts up wrong game ? o.o

So I installed both versions of 6.2 on my computer because I'm bad at decision making
I simply changed the path of the shortcut too the new folder, which is in exactly the same directory except instead of Stainless_Steel_6 is Stainless_Steel_RRRC_6.2
Even when I go into that folder and run the batch, which seems too have a lot more info then the "vanilla" version, it starts up the vanilla version. i've gone through files and pictures too confirm that I was in the folder of RR/RC, yet it runs the other game. Anybody else have this problem, or am I a special individual :]

Have you changed the batchfile to adapt to the new folder?... else it will just jump out of the folder with the good old dos command cd.. until it can call kingdoms.exe with the parameter for the config located in Stainless_Steel_6.

Sadly this did not resolve my issue however.
But on a more positive note this has opened up my mind too more methods of finding the correct answer to something with the wrong method

Out of sheer curiosity I decided to go into config to do something that might come out in my favor. Oddly enough the batch points too the config, the config points too the mod folder. Does that makes sense? Barely. Is it organized? Not really. Did I fix it? Yessir

Afaik the bat is just another way to express what you read in the expansion shortcuts:
"\Medieval II Total War\kingdoms.exe" --features.mod=mods/british_isles
and the seperate config is to make sure that certain flags are set that could be otherwise wrongly defined by the default config in mediaval.preferences.cfg
