Saruman is not much of fighter either but is included, and MoS does carry a sword. He can be more of a governor type general and have low command.

I like that solution LL. It would be sweet to have him giving the pre-battle speech for the defense of a settlement. You know he could get those slobs motivated to die.

Are this models going to be implemented in the next release of TATW or will be a independent submod?

But hasn't Gondor already got 'enough' going on with Aragorn, Boromir, Faramir, Denethor, the Dol Amroth guy and Forlong(?) the Fat? I agree it would be nice, but for the sake of balance, and also the nature of them all not being 'possible' to fully use at the same time, wouldn't it be better if he was just introduced as a 'common' general.

Besides, if this ever came down to a debate between someone like the MoS and Madril, then it would only be prudent to choose the more significant character. Even though it is a bit of a slippery slope; as in diplomat vs general.

I like your suggestion, though, and if the other factions were to receive the large amount of 'significant' heroes to their faction rosters then it would be a nice addition. But it just seems, at the momment, that the current 'vanilla' factions, apart from Gondor, need a little 'enhancing' first to make this 'justifiable'. I really like your idea though, +Rep!

I'd support this some time in the distant future when all the important characters from the books have been implemented. Until then though, Lurtz is likely to be the only movie-exclusive character to get his own battle/strat model.

so is saruman stuck in isengard..like he always is or does he command his army to battle...i mean i know its going to look weird when he stabs his foes with his staff(even though it was spicked on the end..due to movie refrences) id still like to have his command my armies across middle earth..

I'll release as a sub mod but it will probably made official, can't guarantee it though, it's KK's call.

I'll just replace models and textures, Saruman will be exactly how he is in the mod except for his new look.
