    Thanks BDIZZLE, I've finally gotten round to starting to watch these. I remember watching most of them on TV a while ago, but I'm watching all of them right through now
    According to this poll, 80%* of TGW fans agree that "The mod team is devilishly handsome" *as of 12/10 (its true )

    I should watch this when i get the time. Does it have any useful info on warfare and tactics?

    Yes theres alot of good info there, tons of real footage that gives a very realistic view of the types of uniforms and equipment they actually used during critical battles, plus good stuff about the other theaters of war and troops the major powers brought in from all over the world to fight

    Plus for the immersion freaks out there (like me) it really gets you in the "mood" of WW1...

    I have these on DVD. It is based on The First World War book by Hew Strachan. The book is really good, I recommend it!

    this guy's profile is quite good and shows a very in depth documentry called 'the great war', made in 1964; it may be more enlightening than the documentaries today.

    the episodes "Our hats we doff to General Joffre" (Episode Four) is most helpful to the early war of movement that's being shown in this game so far.
