    Oh wow. I'm so friggin excited.
    Quite funny though that I never played the vanilla Rtw.
    I bought it a week ago for like ten bucks and I happened to stumble across this forum when I was looking for patches. So I thought "Hey why don't whait for this divine awesomeness instead? Don't wanna play thru a game thats like hundred hours long while there is a better version of it."

    Btw is this Mod hard to play for a total newbie? And does all the guides for the vanilla apply for this game too?

    Welcome! In the mod exist advice and difficulty level, so have fine with it... You can also play a little the vanilla version, it will be more easy for you to play the mod after that..

    Welcome mate.
    I would say yes. RS 2 is going to be quite hard for newcomers. I would advice you to download RS 1.6a and play it on medium/medium to prepare for RS 2.
    I know that you might think this is a loot of hassle just for playing the game (RS 1.6a) for just a couple of days/weeks, but I know for sure that it's going to enchant your experience with RS 2 as you wont be confused about how to play the game and to one extend, to survive.

    exactly.... im not sure whose idea it was to start this thread but it is also not to be taken so seriously i would imagine..

    and just a note for new posters:
    Dont pester the mods.
    and please read or at least browse the thread instead of skipping to the end so members dont jump all over you

    But what you can do is leave positive and constructive reinforcement, compliments and words of encouragement fort the DEV. team....

    I know sorry , but you know when its the 50th post like this you see in the journey .. And its takes nithing just to say instead ": im very excited for the release , i hope it will be soon ." instead of post souding like reproaches , normally im the first to respond calm , but please guys , be polite , and evryone will respond you with explications , thats why im in rs team i like helping people too , i will be the first one to respond you , but please take care of what youre saying

    once squid makes his installer ready, RS2'll be released. I'd bet it'll come out tomorrow or sunday.
