Default Christianity, Islam, Judaism. The same thing?

Is it just me or are Christianity, Islam and Judaism all basically the same thing? They all worship one god(God, Jehovah, Allah). They all value peace, love and compassion. They just seem like different denominations of the same basic religeon. Sure, they differ on some issues(Mohammed is or is not a prophet of God, Jesus is or is not the messiah) but they're still the same basic thing.

Basicly, Islam take on the view is yes, for the most part.
You could say Islam and Christianity are extensions of Judism.

They all worship one god but each god is diffrent, on this alone it proves that they arent the same.

Saying Islam, Judaism, and Christianity are the smae thing is like saying Apples, Grapes and Strawberries are the same thing because they are All sweet fruits.

Christianity and Islam just continued Judism, they still have the same belief system though, believe in one god, and be a good person and you will be rewarded. And many believe that they are the same just practiced in a different manner, that is the view point of many muslims, not sure about Christianity and Judism.

    So many spin-off threads.

Anyways...I don't think you can say that Judaism, Islam, and Christianity are the same thing. They are fundementally the same, but not completely the same. They do all believe in the same God, but Muslims and Jews do not consider Jesus as God, while Christians do consider Jesus as God.

Well, the old testament was created by the teaching of Jesus, and the new testament by the desiples, two different teaching, one directly from god, the other through a human being.

It's because the original message has been changed and altered by human hands.

Jesus didnt write the old testement. He taught some of it but he in no way created the belief in adam and eve nor did he write about moses freeing the hebrews from egypt, ect.

Yes he did not write it, but it was written about Jesus directly. Meaning it was written by those who either knew the apostles, or saw them somewhere preaching about Jesus.

you have the old and new testements mixed up my friend. The new testement was written by the apostles about jesus' teachings and the old testement is a collection of works from judism.

Christianity is different then all the others because it has been possesed by a church only interested in gaining power for itself. What further evidence is needed then how they have suppresed almost all of the gospels?

What? If you're talking about such things as the 'Gospel of Barnabas' and the 'Gospel of Mary Magdalene' then you'd better do some more research. The two are very esoteric and arcane - not resembleing the other four Gospels - and are agreed to be written by 3rd century Gnostics, not 1st century Christians, like the others...

And masteradnin, the New Testament was about Jesus' life and teachings, and the Old is a coolectin of Hebrew Histories.

Yeah, some issues. Too bad they make up almost all of the teachings of the various religions.
