Hello all,
I thought we could discuss Fredrik William III and how he affected the outcome of the Napoleonic Wars. He is generally portrayed quite negatively and gets a lot of the blame for Prussias failings in the early years. I am not sure that this is entirely accurate however. He was often indecisive sure, but he saw the problems in Prussia and wanted reforms for his country much earlier than 1806 but was hampered by the society he ruled over. He also supported and encoruaged the reforms made after the defeat.
