campaign won't start

I downloaded 1.0a from this link:

I installed it and everything seemed fine. I browsed the factions and chose to play georgia but when I press the start campaign button nothing happens! I had to 'ctrl alt del' as the game had siezed up. I tried another faction with the same result...

my kingdoms version is 1.5, I also have third age + broken crescent (kingdoms version) installed both of which work fine.

You have to be patient, the first time it can take up to 12 minutes to generate the map. After that it will be as normal.
