I have to say OOMM, if you play as SE anyway, it's quite entertaining to see your heavy archers pepper the enemy ^^

High Elves. They are the only faction I've found to be a consistent challenge to play against, particularly in late game. They have very strong cavalry, archers and infantry, so you always have to think about how to beat them, you can't just use a single tactic. Silvan Elves are also tough, but they lack cavalry so you can outflank them easier than the High Elves.

I played as Mordor and, after killing Gondor, decided to make it difficult by invading Harad and Rhun. Then got an invasion called on Barad Dur So it was around turn 125 by the time I got to the High Elves, by which point they had huge stacks full of Eldar units. The Silvan Elves were also very tough, as they had started spawning Ents for some reason. So I had a massive Olog Hai - Ent brawl - it was a fine sight to behold, but not as fine as when I attacked Moria and had a full stack of Olog Hai battering away at the Balrogs!!!

Definetly Isengard! Ther's nothing "funnyer" then control Grimbold and Theodred, and hold all the Uruk Hai, with nothing but Rohan Riders, and Archers!

I would have said Isengard cos the Uruk-hai are brutal and a challenge, but i chose Harad as on the campaign map i find they have a strong position and good supply chain, and on battel map i get to fight Mumakil and a host of challenging units, i rarely get a heroic victory on an even fielding of troops.

thats hard, probably Harad, because of how tenacious they can be at the start, while i hold back the endless fodder sent by Mordor

As Gondor I'd have to say Harad was the most fun fighting. Mordor got on my nerves after awhile with their full/half-stacks that just come outta nowhere always ruining my plans.(Plus taking down the Mumakil is always fun!)

Well personaly, the most funny battles I played were always me as Mordor against orcs of the misty mountains To see clash of 400 orcs - goblin infantry and uruks and slashing each other was amazing or mountain trolls in clash with warg raiders....hmmmmm! yoummy

and all in one battle of few thousands of orcs......
