It won't work with Steam. CA did something to the exe that made it so mods no longer work with it.
Really? Is that a recent development? I remember installing mods on the Steam versions of Rome and M2 and only having to do a work around by changing the launch options in the Steam settings of the game. Sigh, well I guess I'll have to dig around for my old Rome copy, I still have it somewhere and I was looking forward to this mod for actually a couple years. Thanks alot CA or Steam or whoever *sarcasm*. But anyway thanks for the heads up Ciciro. Rep+ for your trouble.

mod isn't finished yet. there will be a big updating schedules - messages, new temples, the historical ships, cards of buildings, unique structures. the strategic and tactical balance, garrison scripts in a large number will be reconsidered. perhaps, new models of chariots will be made. the main work is now conducted on http://imtw.ru/forum/1105-bronze-age-total-war/. you watch updatings. I apologize for my English
Could someone tell me how to install this mod on steam.I'm just stuck on after what to do after the installer is finished
Sure, find Rome Toalwar in your steam library right click and go to properties. Once you have done this click on launch options. Inside the little box you will want to place these two commands -show_err -mod: "the name of the mod folder"
So as an example if i want to play The Hellenic states mod my command line would look like this "-show_err -mod:THS" without quotes. If you need to find the mod's folder name just have a look to where you installed Rome: Total war and should be able to find it.
Hope it's not that vague i don't have RTW installed and not done any modding in a long time
Thanks for the help I got it working
So there is this update to the mod on their forums, that makes it more flashed out, sadly it's still all on russian
Well they made a new version: BRONZE AGE TW v.1.3.7

All in russian.

Not really jealousy. I really like the bronze age, 1 mod isn't enough in my mind. Especially with the potential of the original Rome engine, really wonderful stuff could be done in the time period.
Also, is their any possibility of at least posting the preview in english?

I ask to forgive my English. I am glad that someone is interested in the Bronze era in general and our mod in particular. This mod started being developed at the forum which is specially created for this purpose long ago http://forum.gardarike.org/viewtopic.php?f=59&t=59 (there is a complete list of all developers).
Having issued the version of game with campaigns on a strategic map and a fix none of former developers don't work on the spendthrift any more (except Laertes which carries out historical consultations and with which I coordinate the main works on mod).http://imtw.ru/topic/3165-bronze-age-total-war/
At present I finished works on mod "The Variag total war: Dogs of war" http://imtw.ru/topic/39719-%d1%84%d0...b/page__st__10and already half a year I conduct works on improvement fashion in all its aspects - religion, a gameplay, graphics, introduction of unique constructions, regional hiring, garrison scripts, music, texts, treyts and many other things. Plans of works is provided to bring it to the EB level and to make the multiplayer version. For one it is rather heavy task, however there are people ready to help including in creation of historical models of new units and chariots. As for the translation into English then I am powerless - I don't want to do the technical google-translation for obvious reasons, and offers to make the normal translation to me didn't arrive. So if is wishing to make it on TWC I will only be glad - anyway, it is better, than "to indulge in vain hopes".
If there is a desire to cooperate - write me the personal message here.
If someone wishes to establish mod on the computer without mistakes, at first it is necessary to establish mod and correction from here http://imtw.ru/topic/3165-bronze-age-total-war/, and then to establish updating 1.3.http://imtw.ru/topic/39397-%d0%be%d0...0%b8%d0%b8-13/ It is also possible to establish music, it is only necessary to remove all files (except the music) from the sound folder http://imtw.ru/topic/38849-%d0%bc%d1...age-total-war/.
The following updating will be made in the form of uniform archive.
So sad that this does not have an English translation. Looks like a great mod. Congratulations

Wow, thanks!!! Sadly, I had deleted the mod file and can't remember exactly which link was it, but I'll try to find it by myself
It gives me an error when I try to run it "could not find settlement_barbarian_level_6 in database" (I downloaded this file: https://yadi.sk/d/48fPAhSBiFco5). Is it just a Patch? If so, which file should I patch this over?
