All I can do is use automatic translators. Therefore the quality of the translation will be poor.
If only someone completes them later.
Here is an example of translating one of the descriptions to a unit:
Such a rich commercial city, located in a rather open area, like Troy, should have its defenders. The Trojan Guard is a well-protected, experienced and strong warriors. Belonging to an ethnic group is not decisive, their main motivation is loyalty to their city and loyalty to the tsar, who does not remain in debt, as the content of these soldiers is due to the tsar's treasury. These soldiers are well equipped - bronze cuirasses and helmets, spears and shields. Not being an elite in the full sense of the word, they are, nevertheless, the best warriors of Troy. They carry guards on the walls of the city and in the palace of the king, and during the battle they form the linear battle formations, representing the true backbone of the Trojan's foot army, capable of fighting to the last both with infantry of the enemy and with his chariots.
Well, it's better than nothing
When I start the campaign it crashes with an error about not finding the name "libian_warlord.cas" although it's in the models_unit folder.
Edit: Nevermind, I fixed it. It likely relates to installing the mod with the steam version of RTW.

Thanks for the progress! Is there a way you could "flag" which are the automatic translations so we can improve them later?
All descriptions automatically translated. I can write about this in top of text files.
Well, I added into archive a text document with list of files whose translation can be improved.
Thanks! I'm sure when you are done translating the files (if you ever are done, not pushing you here!) then we could make a team to improve on the translation. It would be great to have this mod translated into good English.
EDIT: I just checked. What would be great is if you could put a comment specifically in the areas where you translated automatically, instead of copying over the text from the English version of Barbarian Invasion. Or are those files separate?
For example, I find that the text for the Stone Walls building is pretty okay in terms of grammar and spelling, so I don't think you auto-translated it, am I right?

Translation for "vanilla" buildings copied from Barbarian Invasion. Ok, I wrote about this this in export_buildings.txt.
Done, all russian texts translated into english.

Great! Do you consider your work done? If so, when I find time, I might get my hands dirty on this and translate it better
Yes, I finished my work
That's great to hear. Do you know if they are continuing the work on the mod, or is 1.6 the final version?
This mod has been abandoned.
Sad to hear...
