Hum... when did have WG some kind of integrity in past scandals? Rigged competitions, their employees abusing their position for their own gain and other fishy stuff is nothing new, and WG always reliably up handling those situations.
So...TOGtober...tell me something about the tank? I rarely ever see it, and when I do, I rejoice, for I'm most likely sitting in my Black Prince and it means lotsa enemy hitpoints to chew off while being dinged upon. Is it really so useless? What's the deal?
I might keep it anyway if I make it, just for the oddity value.
Hmm, figured it wouldn't fit my style anyway. Call me a 'basic' tanker, but what fits me is the juggernaut style of E75 and the like. Too bad that things like silverification of gold ammo and the prototype/blueprint-only TDs with ridiculous guns make the style very situational and sort of obsolete.
I guess it can have its uses when it's top tier and works in a coordinated platoon where the TOG just takes most of the hits so everyone else can take their time at aiming etc. Or if it's top tier in a TOG platoon that just drives straight for the enemy and bullies everyone into submission by sheer DPM and hitpoint pool.
I agree that TOGs work best in platoons and use the HP pool and fire power to push through the enemy tanks.
That's unless you have a muppet like this on your team

There's always enough idiots out there who don't know how to handle it (or any other tank) appropriately. You know it's true - you're seeing hordes of them every day you play the game, afterall.
Edit: A concept for the players vs bots mode is apparently in testing. Looks kind of fun, already.
