I read somewhere that in a later release you might have some models redone. or in other words no model work until later on.
My question is this, will you take elephant models redo them so you can have a 1 man hero unit like in Aristea from the Rome engine or is it not possible? I would think it could be done for all your special character family members, male only sadly.
All I can say is Characters have been taken care of![]()
nice fast reply and sadlythats not saying a whole lot.
You will like the result.
If you ask HannibalExmachina nicely he might tell you more.. hehe.
And while i can`t speak for Darkstar i don`t think that we will include single heroes. That just doesn`t fit since most of them are just "normal" guys and shoulnd`t be able to fight against 100 soldiers..
And it is often seen in the books that the generals used bodyguards.
Maybe another reply that will lead nowhere, but still

Ideas for guilds and custom units?
Maybe have an alchemist guild that allows you to hire byzantinium flametrowers? (you could use the house of st jhon as a base guild, and replace the knight with a byzantinium flametrower and rename them into "Wildfire spitters" or something)
The brave companions as expensive mercenaries.
The Faith Militant a guild or merceneries or both, available to factions that worship the seven (not winterfell or stannis for example)
ETC.
I agree with this. Single unit hero's just don't fit into Westeros, I don't think.
What the guys were hinting at before are the custom general models created by HannibalExMachina. Originally they were posted in the general forums but we've moved them into our developers forum until the final versions are done.
Thanks a lot, Darkstar.![]()
"Five had been his brothers. Oswell Whent and Jon Darry. Lewyn Martell, a prince of Dorne. The White Bull, Gerold Hightower. Ser Arthur Dayne, Sword of the Morning. And beside them, crowned in mist and grief with his long hair streaming behind him, rode Rhaegar Targaryen, Prince of Dragonstone and rightful heir to the Iron Throne."
But thats what makes being a modder fun lol
ok thanks for the better clarification. I have not read the series, so please don't stone me. I actually have not even herad of them but when I have a chance I will look into the series. I am an avid reader of fantasy type books. Thats why I asked about the single hero units, since the family trees are sounding so extensive and well planned out.
I downloaded your first Beta and actually enjoyed the little I played it even though it was a beta and very easy to grow fast. I am loking forward to another update of the beta with more factions and units.
good work and please keep at it.
We're concentrating on development at the moment - it's fairly unlikely we'll have another public beta before we're up to the release candidate stage. The alpha which was released was more of a proof of concept than anything else...

We are making new skins for all the factions but I don't think we have any Lannister skins to show at this point.
