Since this is the Total War general Discussion I assume this is the right place to post this. This isnt any ordinary favorite total war thread. Just fill this out.

1) What is your favorite total war game and why?





2) What is your favorite unit from that game and why?

1) What is your favorite total war game and why?

Rome Total War. It was the first one i played and it was the one that just clicked with me.



2) What is your favorite unit from that game and why?

Probably any unit with a sarissa for pinning down the enemy. Phalanx FTW




3) What is your Favorite faction from that game and why?

Probably the Hellenic factions multiplayer wise, nothing better than a phalanx

The Thracians campaign wise

Greco-Barbarians.



4) What is your fondest memory of that game if you have any?

Seeing an RTS with no base building for the first time.

Seeing an RTS with no base building for the first time.

1: Rome Total War because it has the smoothest MP out of the non gunpowder category. Also the factions have diversity which is a thing later TW games lack IMO. ive been playing MP since 2006 now and it is still entertaining.

2: Cataphracts, Because the things are death incarnate. when used with the Wedge glitch they can eradicate entire units in seconds. if they somehow survive that theres the AP maces... these things can charge sacred bands from the front and come out on top and that deserves credit.

3: Armenia, Because when im on MP, i dont want to go all skirmish(parthia) as people tend to cry when i kill off their entire army without making melee contact once, but i do want cata and HA. It's the only option. Sometimes i tend to take pity on the opposition and go Dacia, Thrace or Numidia to make it fair.

4: First tournament victories. There was so much adrenaline that i can still see the battle. that might be the replays though.

1 Medieval 2 total war.It is the only one I've played except empire.
2 Hard to say,I have a couple Venetian Heavy Infantry or the Ritterburder,I also like greek fire throughers,paivse/genoa crowsbowsmen,conquistadors,andevturos and more
3 Thats a hard choice,Teutonic Knights for thier military Venice for the camigh.Teutonic Knights have the best Knight in the gme(imo) the Ritterburder and other cool units.Venice is fun because it starts off small and weak but in Italy with rich cities and challange ealry era,and you have good militia so you will have a ton of money.
