Hello citizens!

So, why do I wish to apply for citizenship ?
First allow me to present myself: I have registered on September 2009 due to my interests in the game M2TW.


MY BEGINNINGS:
For my part, everything has really started when I first try modding on Deus Lo Vult.
I made a mini-patch that addressed some aspects of the mod that did not please me:

Then I thought on making my own sub-mod, which focused on giving DLV more "punch", so I made a sub-mod [TOTAL FIGHT], which worked very well but due to lack of interest from players (had only 30 downloads in a couple of months), I let it in standby.

I then made some no-CTD patch for Call of Warhammer, but well this is minor stuff:

I also created a 4GL code to extract automatically the stats of units for Call of Warhammer and gave an excel sheet at the disposition of players:

MY VOCATION WAS FOUND:
After that, I start really to find what I was made for: making 2D stuff.

It started first to try to give an interface for Chaos (Call of Warhammer) more clearness in a given window. And finally I thought on remaking it, at start I was a noob with Photoshop but progressively I raised my skills and even added some real original features (especially in my Chaos interface). This is still one of my main achievements. Most of my work has been included in the mod Call of Warhammer itself, as a base, and I have credits in the mod for 2D art.
This submod also feature a .bat file that allows players to very easily pick up a faction and have the interface corresponding to it, rather than the generic one for the culture.

Finally, isilendil & Timorfeys relied on me to remake lots of 2D stuff for the mod Call of Warhammer (they also gave me credits for the next patch: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=340167 ).

One of my latest major achievements is the remaking of all 2D interfaces for Stainless Steel. Many versions for each culture exist and a most battle ui's have been remade as well.
Those ui's are already included in PointBlank's RR/RC famous compilation, and gracul plan to include them as a base for next official Stainless Steel release.

I HAVE FOUND A NEW HOME:
This is at this point that I thought of creating my own thread in the Graphical Workshop.
I like participating from time to time to some Graphical Competitions and I very often put some stuff I made to share with other people here. I also communicate a lot with the other artists in the GW. I made some signatures and banners on request too.
It is like a new home for me.

MY MAJOR PROJECT:
And finally my latest and biggest project is the remaking of all UI’s for Third Age (17 UI's – 2 of them being made by my team mate el Cid, following my instructions), one for each faction (so as for Call of Warhammer, I have created a launcher to copy the right files before playing). The submod have just been released.

As you can see I love contributing and make stuff for others.
That's what I love in this forum. It is to share, discuss and give something to other people. Being a citizen, means to be part of this nice community, officially. For me it would be some kind of recognition for all my work.

If a member has a warning that expired how many months should be added before he is eligible for citizenship? Is it 3 months for the warning + an extra 3 of is it 3 for the warning and 6 extra? I was looking for it in the constitution but am not able to find it.

It's just 6 months from his last infraction. I.E. Jack received an infraction on December 20th 2009, he can't apply for Citizenship until June 20th 2010.

I think this user exemplifies what the community needs from a modder, ingenuity and effort. He neither claims prior training in Photoshop, nor was 2D Art his initial calling, but he worked his way around the town and eventually found something he was good at. As a result he's been contracted by the most popular mod on the forum to provide 2D Art which shows up during every last second of playtime. This is more or less an example for those who exclaim that they don't know how to mod, that no one knows how to mod from birth, it's simply putting in the effort to try various things and see what works. What's more, the work is quality and inventive. A yes from me.
