Would it be possible to introduce air balloons in NTW?

I'm not sure the game engine would allow flying objects thought..But that would be a great addition..

I wonder if we could even pilot the balloon or have a third-person view from the balloon prior to the battle..

That would have tactical information...

Napoleon has a balloon (look behind his army) and most Frecch generals will eventaully gain a balloonist ancillary.

Balloons are already in NTW. Fight a battle with Napoleon and ensure he's got the Balloonist in his retinue. It allows the commander to have a review of his opponents battle line set-up and can adapt his own formations prior to the commencement of battle.
