Fitz Salnarville, Duke William's favourite knyghte,
To noble Edelwarde his life dyd yielde;
Withe hys tylte launce hee stroke with thilk a myghte,
The Norman's bowels steemde upon the feeld.
Old Salnarville beheld hys son lie ded, 235
Against Erie Edelward his bowe-strynge drewe;
But Harold at one blowe made tweine his head;
He dy'd before the poignant arrowe flew.
So was the hope of all the issue gone,
And in one battle fell the sire and son.
There are too many chapters to list, after all there is nominally a 1,000 chapters, most chapters view the Emperor as a really talented, brilliant tactician, strategist, and overall bad ass warrior. Some of the more "religious" chapters such as the Black Templars probably view him as a god like everyone else.
Blood Ravens I think into his divinity or they at least somewhat has sympathy to religious believes of Imperial masses.
About chapters:you'd be surprized but there are very few chapters ,which are really known ,very few
I think like 20.30 something .
Anywhere I think Space Wolves are worshipers they call Empah for all-Father .

They shout for the god-emperor.
I think most of the imperium of man [bar the mechanicus] Astartes included think of the Emperor as a God following the Heresy
"will help build battle station for food" - or rep
No Space Marine chapters worship the Emperor, even the Black Templars.
My brother, though you are misguided for worshipping Khorne we are still united in our hatred for the False Emperor. Come! And help me show these fools the praises of Chaos!
Scream in orgasmic ecstasy Imperial Fools! For your days, upon the rose scented bed of life is numbered!
Most Space Marines worship the Emperor but as a great warrior NOT a god! Only a minority of chapters see the Emperor as a deified entity.
Some excerpts to back me up: http://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Chaplain
"The Ecclesiarchy and its parishioners (its lay followers) worship the Emperor as the most divine god. Although the reverence Space Marines have for the Emperor borders on actual worship, he is supposedly not seen as an actual god by some, but as a brilliant and inspirational man."
"As in all things, this view of the Emperor's divine status or lack thereof varies from Chapter to Chapter. The Space Marine cults are more ancient than the cult of the Ecclesiarchy, and their specific practices often primitive and barbaric. The chapter's own Primarch is also a major part of the Chapter's specific cult, revered as much as the Emperor."
"A formal sign of entente between the differing interpretations is that of the rosarius. A rosarius is a holy symbol, taking the form of a necklace, amulet or brooch which often displays the Imperial Eagle or the Terminator cross, or other shapes to suit the particular devotional qualities of the Chapter concerned (for example, the Space Wolves and their wolf iconography). Gifted to Space Marine Chaplains by the Ecclesiarchy, this blessing represents the brotherhood of the Imperial Faith and formally marks the continuance of religious concord between the two groups. In practice, the link between the organisations remains rather tenuous."
Ahem! I can't believe you Imperials don't even understand your own special forces....
Please don't source via Lexicanum.
The Chaplains teach that the presence of a formal chapel is not necessarry to honour the Emperor, that the maelstrom of battle is the only true place of worship for a Space Marine and the slaughter of foes the truest offfering.
Space Marine Chaplains care nothing for the ravings of the Ecclesiarchy and ignore the dictates of the Imperial Cult in favor of their own ancient traditions. The first Space Marine Chapters were founded centuries before the development of the Imperial Cult and the dominion of the Adeptus Ministorum. Whereas the Adeptus Ministorum has gradually extended its influence over the many thousands of individual cults that once existed throught the galaxy, it has never been able to influence the PSace Marine Cults which remain as stubbornly individualist today as they ever were.

They respect him and give the Emperor praise as a father and master; not as a God.
Everyone does and it is very good for finding information, but the Lexicanum also contains a lot of rubbish and fanfiction as well. Typically, Codex or sourcebook references are preferred.
It's the whole wiki vs. source arguement.
Space Marines of most Chapters view the Emperor as their creator and the most inspirational and capable mortal who has ever lives...they don't view him as a God and that's why they are not on good terms with the Ecclesiarchy or the Adepta Sororitas
Truth. I tried to make grammatical edits on some articles and they said I needed to have a source or they'd reverse the changes! Lol. They're working hard to eliminate fanfiction and the like.
Anyways, OP, I think it's what Lt.Bradford said. They praise him not as a god, but as a leader. Maybe because they're closer to his level than regular Imperial citizens.
