Not much new, but they do make note that the speeches will be Japanese with subtitles, and an option for English voice-acting as well. It's at least somethin!

watwe send in a group of cavalry to flank our enemy, only to be routed by archers that have been upgraded with fire arrow technology. In the rock-paper-scissors world of Total War, archers beat cavalry every time, unless...
makes sense, cavalry are not heavily armoured like their european counterparts...
I assume any unit would rout under heavy fire from fire arrows. Not in hand to hand combat then. But then brings up the question. Weren't samurais efficient in both hand to hand combat and archery? They are going to have to pull off this Rock Paper Scissors plan well and carefully.
Nice share!

I love how almost every post has began with the quote
'wat'
makes us sound so educated.

"I am Andrew Ryan, and I'm here to ask you a question; Is a man not entitled to the sweat of his brow? No! Says the man in Washington, it belongs to the poor. No! Says the man in the Vatican, It belongs to God. No! Says the Man in Moscow, It belongs to everyone. I rejected those answers, instead I choose something different... I chose the impossible... I choose.... Rapture. A city where the artist would not fear the censor, where the scientist would not be bound by petty moralities, where the great would not be constrained by the small. And with the sweat of your brow, Rapture can become your city as well..."

Nice i was worried about all the constant Japanese. sometimes its nice to hear something i can understand.
As dumb as that sounds calling it every time like they know the game (which they obviously don't) archers destroy cavalry fast if they get shot alot as horses are easy to hit and take big damage from missile attacks. Its the same in etw; cavalry get crushed if they get shot.

The thing is they've said repeatedly archers > infantry > cavalry > archers, not archers > x.
I agree, it seems more realistic that cavalry are vulnerable to arrows, but routing them? Why would you charge, get half way, then decide to run away thus showing your backs to the now invigorated archers? Yes, the cavalry men lose control of their horses blah blah. Meh, whatever. Still, the game is sounding better by the review
not the same
Sengoku take note many heavy cavalry that even able to crush through heavy defend line with large musket using
Sekigahara is tha defeat of Takeda army but before three key general die all of them able to lead the heavy cavalry of Takeda break through the heavily fortified battle line of Oda army
3000 musket combine with many barrier constructed to stop cavalry charge and a large number of spearmen and archer
still unable to stop cavalry from breakthrough
how could some archer using flame arrow able to do that

Empire II and Medieval III pls
I think if they able to make samurai cavalry the same as Dragoon in ETW and NTW
able to dismouted and fight
if the horse down when he ride there is a chance he survive and become a foot soldier(in ETW and NTW if the horse down when rider on he will die but if rider not ride it he still live)
Empire II and Medieval III pls
nice read.
