when will this game be released?
What makes a real American? A cowboy hat? Enjoying a fine T-bone
steak? Going to a baseball game? Shooting a gun? Maybe it’s the freedom to go
into a poor country and tell them how to do things?! Heh! Those are all great
qualities! But one thing that makes a true patriot is the ability to choose
an American car! When you buy an import you take a hot meal off a hard
working American’s table. There, there! This poor girl is going
to starve to death, just because you bought a cheaper, more efficient
Maibazu. Without gross symbols of excess, what will Americans have to look up
to? Our great industries is a threaten! Cars, pornography, armaments! And
they need your help! So the next time you buy a car, a piece of adult
literature or a missile defense system! Make sure you do the American thing!

Enjoy. Not much new information really, but shows the character page and lots of faces. Mostly Swedes, Frenchmen, and Englishmen. I want to see some different cultures, but maybe Arabs, Berbers, Turks aren't ready for prime time yet.

Well, in CK1 you couldn't play as non-christians. I think CK2 might be the same

Yes it will be the same.

But they are to be added in an expansion.

Right, only Christians and only feudal lords and ladies (no bishops or republics). I like to play as a multi-cultural Spain, so I usually have a lot of Berber vassals. Hence my curiosity. Plus, the last few teasers have all focused on northern Europe. With a name like Crusader Kings, I think that we should see what non-Christian characters will look like and how we can interact with them.

There should be a developer diary on warfare by the end of the month, so that's something to look forward to.

There's a CK1 mod that lets me play pagan Prussia. Damn, that was fun. Almost always got steamrolled by Poland though

I tried the same or a similar mod. It was a lot of fun playing the Seljuk Turks.

Ck is not too hardcore. It is one of their easier to learn games idk why anyone would think otherwise.

Good news! Hopefully many people join it, so finally paradox can release bug free game, Ck2 have very slim chance to get expansion pack to remove their bug (ala EU3/HOI3).

Paradox style expansion, good selling game can get more than 2 expansion, it take EU3 two expansion before it can really show of it shine. Bad selling game like CK1,Eu:Rome only got 1 expansion each. The dev already said they will release other faction as expansion, hopefully CK2 sell well so it can get 2-3 expansion, unlocking all faction + real Jihad + etc2

If they're making so many games and they're releasing Crusader Kings 2 (I am playing Crusader Kings 1 right now) then there are still enough people left who want to play in such. It's different than other titles (like Shogun 2 for example) and good game in its own right. I think will buy Crusader Kings 2.
