I just had a hilariously overpowered idea. Someone be the king of Sweden and someone else be a patrician in Gotland. Cooperate and eventually murder the Aztecs.

Jon had taken Donal and Benjen’s advice to heart: Sam may be fat and pathetic, but he is still a member of the watch, and one of the few black brothers who isn't a rapist or thief. (out of context, this sounds ridiculously racist)

There is a 50-50 chance for Harald and William each in my games. Then if Godwinson turns out to be extremely lucky, he wins.
I once assassinated both Harald and William as the Roman Emperor Konstantinos Doukas.

If you murder the leader, does their force still survive?
I once had an idea of murdering Genghis Khan as soon as he arrives, but then I have not encountered Mongols ever till yet.

Seems interesting. I had bought Sunset Invasion anyway to try out when feeling bored, and now I think it would be worth a try.
It would have been much better if they actually made Columbus' discovery of Americas and then early Spanish-Portuguese colonies there.

My France campaign ends 5 years after starting it in 1066, because my ruler is destined to die in that year (as 19 years old), while elective succession enforced by a faction means that my angry uncle, the previous duke of Burgundy (I stripped his title after a civil war) becomes the new king. So I would be left with a 1 year old duke, ruling 2 counties.
Everything isn't lost. You surely have a claim for the kingdom. Take back what is rightfully yours once your duke is an adult by forming a faction.
Or you could try like me to create a "Gaelic" empire by starting with the Duchy of Bretagne and uniting Bretagne, Ireland and Scotland under one flag. There is two Breton count who have a claim over the Duchy if you prefer to start at the lowest rank.
Are you talking about the kingdom of France or is there really a Carolingian dynasty ?
Before the newest patch it was always between Williams (75%) and Harold (25%). Now Harald usually obliterate them but the Saxons manage to regain independence after a few uprising.

Fantastic. Now I know who I am going to play during my next game. Thanks you two.
My internet was out over the weekend, so I played a bit of CKII. I started a new Sweden campaign. This is it so far.

Really I have just been slowly taking everything around me, I do plan on taking away from Norway soon. I was also the King of Denmark for the time, but they elected a new king. I was bullied by Pisa and the HRE very recently sadly lost that war fast. On top of the HRE having about 40k men and my 17k (max) army not being able to do anything about that, I had no idea how to fight this embargo war . I think I lost most of my trade outposts on the HRE. Pretty much I lost so fast I wasn't able to even organize my levies! I was and am still not really sure how to fight one of those wars.
Here is the world at the time as well.

Something is wrong with the Romans.
And same applies on the Polish-Lithuanian counties.

Im surprised France hasnt lost territory to HRE (even though they are in a rebel fase now). But im planning on playing somewhere in scandinavia for my next game.
Also, it can be me, but all the good woman to breed with for my cousins/kinsmen, are always russian/greek and orthodox. Western Europe is a pool of mediocrity or worse
In the early game, those three Hungarian princesses (Maria, Adelhaid and one more) are the best for being wives unless you want someone else for political reasons.
The worst ladies come from Present Debutante decision most of the time.
