Nope, but I did manage once to somehow play as Teutonic Order.

Supposely you can play one now, as Byzantine Emperor can give land to him and then you can play like a normal duke (at least that is what I have observed, although there may have some extract feature to be Captain of Varangian Guard).

I tried that. In the end, that Varangian captain revolted against me and took most of my lands, including all of Anatolia. And now he has gained so much power that I cannot beat him, since Anatolia has very high manpower resources.

I am still waiting for an expansion or mod that allows you to play Holy Orders and mercenaries without bugs, crashes and penalties.

Modern day America invading, and It will be called Blue Dawn

Something about naval combat, I guess. It is really needed since The Republic expansion.

Or it may be about the Holy Roman Empire, titled 'The Reich'. Or it may even be about the Crusades and the Kingdom of Jerusalem, titled 'Deus Lo Vult' like that expansion in CK1.
