    Default The Crescent and The Cross: Total War



    Just wanted to let everybody know that I'm working on my first independent mod. This mod will be custom battles only and will be based on the crusades.

    The teutonic knights are probably the best unit you've made so far. the spearmen look better, but
    perhaps you give them a tunic to go over the chainmail? keep up the good work!

    i like the skins, they look good. the spear men in the white tunics look a little odd, i think the tunics need ruffels or some thing to make them look less like armor or some thing, now they seem like steel plates. i also like to see the crusaders go toe to tow with the carthaginans and the northern barbarians, i know you were jsut useing them to show off your units, but it gave me a chukle

    yea I need to add more ruffles although its hard trying to add them on a flat surface. If not done right they come out looking cheesy and wierd. So I might try adding them to the actual model.
    Can't wait for my new Osprey book on the crusades to arrive because then I'll have better reference pics to work off from...
