Is there any special move or victory screens once you satisfy the victory conditions and do you have to play thru the end of 1799 or like other TW games, you got the victory movie when you met the conditions?

good question, in almost 400 hours of empire i have never reached that

You get a pop-up when you complete the victory conditions, and then another when you win/lose the campaign in 1799.

I have always found that victory conditions suck to follow, and when I try to, I just forget them. For instance, I did a russian campaign, where I engulfed all of the Ottoman empire, and all of Italy, Konigsberg, and parts of Poland/lithuania, I was massive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But I lost.
