Hello, New Napoleon total war player here!!

Emperor Batman, a few technical support questions.

I'm going crazy because i want to play your mod!!! I have not been able to see any of the foreign legions in game.

I downloaded the mod from the mediafire link in the original post
but inside the .rar file , there is no file named Foreign_legions_mod.pack
there is only the Foreign_legions_fra , aus, pru, rus, bri. . and unit pack compatibility

is this file missing? or am I doing something completely wrong? Please advise!!! Please check the media fire link! or is there a new link that im missing?

Have Napoleon Mod Manager installed.
i've edited the script file in %appdata%

No, those are the individual factions. There is no combined, all-factions file. Just the rar with all the individual packs inside. If you want to use all simultaneously (which I don't recommend due to AI spam with custom units), unzip all of them to your data folder and activate all of them with pack file manager.

I was noticing on page 6 and 7 of this thread a user named Austin.Weathers posted a screenshot of his
Napoleon total war folder. In this folder there is a .pack file with the name Foreign_Legions_mod .

I downloaded the zip file from Mediafire, on the first page.I cannot find this file anywhere:.Foreign_Legions_mod . It is not in the links on the first page of this thread. Where to download this file?

Foreign_Legions_Brit
Foreign_Legions_Rus
Unit_mod_compatibility_napoleon.

The file Foreign_Legions_Mod.pack is the one I actually need to make the mod function correct?

The All_Factions rar no longer has the "_mod" pack. That was the French pack, which to avoid confusion I just replaced mod with fra. The mediafire zip merely contains each faction's respective packs. Fra = France, Aus = Austria, Pru = Prussia, Rus = Russia, Brit = Britain, and finally the Unit_mod_compatibility gives text to the units.

First: Im playing as France,

Now for the last question. These foreign legions are only available in the European Campaign correct?

I tried searching for them in the Italian Campaign (playing as France) and they are not there. So I'm assuming they're only be recruited from European Campaign?

Do I need to start a new italian campaign?
Should they be available in the Egyptian Campaign?

Yes, Europe only. Most units of the mod didn't exist yet at the time of the Italian campaign anyway.

I vote for more units to the Austrian Empire.Elite or unique units would be the best.
Prince should know some best of units im sure of that.

For the Austrians, seeing their lack of elite, it could be a solution to make the Altgrenadiers(they were the oldest Grenandiers, not elite like the Old Guard, but considering the importance of them in Austrian Army, they are some kind of elite). For the colours, there are list of regimental colours of Austrian infantry.

In 1805 the grenadier battalions were 4 companies each.
Two companies were called Alt-Grenadieren (Old Grenadiers) and wore fur-caps, and two companies were Jung-Grenadieren (Young Grenadiers) and wore infantry headwears.
In 1809 were:
19 grenadier battalions of 6 companies
2 battalions of 4 companies
In 1813 were:
15 grenadier battalions of 6 companies
6 battalions of 4 companies

Funny enough, I was thinking of Pinzgauer Schutzen. I also have the Salzburg City Schutzen as well.

Emperor, with that kind of fur caps... it´s a bit difficult.

I'm more concerned with the Shako shape. I rather use only the Austrian base atlas for them. It doesn't mess up the visual in quality in battles.

Maybe I was a little unfair with the unit. I will give a hint though; it is not Austrian but rather French. It also didn't exist in 1805 but rather before then, but I thought they looked cool anyway.
