however, I don't like vodka that much, the fact that you have to age it in rum/cognac barrel to make it better, says it all

Nope. that's not "compulsory". That's just optional

Remember one important thing: if you drink too much vodka (the good one of course, not the adulterated one), the good point is that you won't get headeache the next day

Yep, Belgian beer is the best (Westvleteren, Westmalle, Duvel, Trappist, Chimay, Jupiler, Maes, Kriek, Rochefort, d'Orval,....)....no one can deny it
