You could easily have one general in Bree being the faction leader and another in the Shire. What's the problem?
Ok, but anyway will you include a script for the invasion of the shire by the ruffians

The rebel faction is not going to be a 'rebel' faction.
The OOTMM will look exactly like the OOTMM, the rest WILL ALSO look like individual factions, as they would use the game mechanic for sub_faction.
They would have their own 'home lands', they would have their own rosters - Also you'd have roaming Orcs pop up as 'bandits' harrassing your borders.
So you see the dynamic makes the Orc faction a true orc faction now.

Ents and variages would be playable, using a script prior to launching the game - this was explained to ruin previous saved games.

    1. Let me quote from the Prologue of "The Fellowship of the Ring":
To the last battle at Fornost with the Witch-lord of Angmar they sent some bowmen to the aid of the king, or so they maintained, though no takes of Men record it.
    2. And? You said that hobbits never fought. They did.

    1. why do you always give an answer that consists out of two parts
    2. if you make them rebels they can still fight but they just wont be as aggresive as they are

    1. Why not? Mainly because you always pose 2 questions.
    2. Well I'd prefer to have them as a part of the Bree faction because I don't want to see Elves fighting against Hobbits and I'd also like to play with them.

Is there any other mods that use the same system and with the variages would it skip to the emerging turn

EB used one similar in RTW_BI, but for M2TW i dont recall any mod using this.

Regarding playable emergant factions, they will be played from the time they would have emerged, i.e.

Ents, same as game start (Ent faction are re-emergant in the normal game).
Khand, this would be near the end of the TA, Mordor is reduced ad a new threat to the Reunited Kingdom emerges. The R-K would be in control of Gondor Fiefs, Eriador, Isengard, Umbar, and Harondor. The High Elves of Imlandris and Lindon have left ME, leaving only the Silvan. The Dwarves still hide in their mines. Perhaps you'll find ME to be a very different place..

Sorry these forums for the submod have grown hugely and confusedly. I was wondering if aupkeep cost was ever put into place for the 3.999 beta and if so where I can find that file to download?

    thanks

in this time would it be possible to play the other factions or only variages, or would it be like in stainless steel?

Also i have seen on the starter event for Orthanc and it seems very evil, i thought you could make the choice between good and evil.

As Seleukos said, we're not planning to make a huge change in the 3.99 game, only in the next release, which will be based on TA:TW 2.0. And there will be lots of others to be added also.

The good one is there, but I placed only the evil one in full view - sorry about that! Kind of keeping it under wraps a bit.

Archaon has finished the unbreakable alliances coding, which he has released as a sub-mod.

    http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...=255238&page=7

This will feature (as he is mod leader and chief dood coder) in DaC, along side many other scripts of his.

Have a peek and say what you think here or there....be nice to have opinions on it here too.

Will update this thread as we see the coding coming together, as much as we CAN.
