wait, thats how the EB1 models look in the M2TW engine? my goodness, why dont you just re-use most of the skins from 1? they look amazing! Also it would mean less work right? so possibly you could put some Roman Reforms in :p

Bobbin is incorrect. Those are not EBI models in MTW2. They are units specifically created for MTW2. They are not part of EBII. Those models and skins are more detailed than EBII models and skins (because they have no variation), let alone EBI models and skins.

Not in the first release, it's very difficult to mod custom cities.

Not sure about the models but these two are definitely the skins for the Roman General and Cohors Evocata from EB.

After having re-read the OP for the first time since it was first released, I am (once again) super excited about this mod and desperate for more info! You guys do an amazing job with each and every preview. The amount of time and effort put into the previews makes me confident that the quality of the actual mod itself will be unparalleled.

Anyway, I wanted to say that I was pretty surprised at just how entertained I was by the government descriptions alone, and as such I'd like to, well, request more. I know the EB2 team likes to release huge previews loaded with information, but I for one would be very happy to see simple descriptions of the different factions' central authority buildings. That might be a relatively easy way to provide more previews, more often.

Love the idea of the political changes as well as the subfactions, something I'd been pushing for.

    Keep up the good work!

the sole reason why anyone plays EB is already in beta/finished?

well release EB2, because Romans are done and that's all that matters.

    sorry macedonia-lovers
Abortion: The pregnant woman doesn't carry a toothbrush in her womb, nor a tumor. Science teaches that from the moment of conception, the new being has all the genetic code. It's impressive. It's not, therefore, a religious question but clearly a moral one, based on science.
Homosexuals: Gay marriage is "an anthropological step backward. If there's a private union, then third parties and society aren't affected. But if they're granted marriage rights and can adopt, there could be children affected. Every person needs a masculine father and a feminine mother to help them settle their identity."
Feminism: A philosophy of constant feminism doesn't give the woman the dignity she deserves. ... It runs the risk of becoming machismo in skirts.

Actually the Romans will not be done for the first release. Only Camillian Romans will be in and the rest will be added later.

EB tries to use primary sources where possible for the units, not drawings from others often based upon those same sources.

Yes, but good drawings are always useful for modelers and skinners.

scalling rope and poles!! where does that come from???? never seen that before. I thought early roman armies undermined walls as their main "wall taker" tactics.

BTW, what book did that picture come from?
