What exactly was the Throne Room in STW1?

If I still had a computer that could play Shogun I would post a screen shot but Googleing “shogun total war throne room” should find one.


It was a screen that you would to go to talk to ambassadors form other factions there were a couple of people in it and a map of Japan it added a bit of role-play as if you were the warlord of a powerful faction.
