Very good music! I liked them all, worthy of a music pack, specialy more suited for northern steppe culture i think! +rep
    mp3 is good.

These are the current tracks in the music folder, if you rename them like this and substitute some tracks you can compile a new music pack.

You can also have a look and edit the descr_sounds_music.txt in your broken crescent data folder

Default Music for BC 3.0 :)

Hi I have 3 tracks that I believe would be great for the mod, the last being the least favorite. Would like to see if you accept. thanks.

-Middle eastern inspired played with many muslim instruments, sung in arabic.
    12 Epitafio.mp3

    05 To Jerusalem.mp3

    01 Balansiya.mp3

EDit: I also have a lot of music for Mongols (throat singing type/strings) if that will made playable in the future.

Yes it is not the original music from medieval2, but i think you have to unpack the audio.DAT file in the sounds folder, i cannot remember it was a long time ago.

    Take a look here: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=418

You probably won't be able to find a public domain version of this, but that hasn't seemed to have stopped you before...

The opera Prince Igor has in it one of the most recognizable pieces of classical music ever. The plot is the story of Prince Igor Svyatoslavich of Novgorod-Seversk, who is captured by the Polovtsy (Kipchaks) as they invade southern Russia. He plots to escape, although his son and the khan's daughter have secretly fallen in love. In this scene the prince and his son are led into the khan's camp where he and his men boast of their impending triumph over Rus.

The track at the top has been used in the movie yes, but has not been included in the soundtrack. After some research (because I really liked it and wanted to have it) I found the artist (Luis Delgado) and the song. He plays many arabic type instruments but I do not think he is the one singing in the first song.

Songs with lyrics would be kind of cheesy IMO. Imagine fighting a battle and having to listen to some guy sing, it would be weird.

It wouldnt bother me at all to hear some songs with lyrics.
It would only enhance the experience of the game IMO

Imagine you hear the singing which is on the first youtube vid Tucot posted, while invading ERE territory with your massive kypchak horse archers army.. lol goosebumps
"A very meaningful quote of a outstandingly wise saying from a historicly boundless important person"

Famously, a curse has been attached to opening Timur's tomb. In the year of Timur's death, a sign was carved in Timur's tomb warning that whoever would dare disturb the tomb would bring demons of war onto his land. Gerasimov's expedition opened the tomb on June 19, 1941. Operation Barbarossa, the invasion of the Soviet Union by Nazi Germany, began three days later on June 22, 1941. Shortly after Timur's skeleton and that of Ulugh Beg, his grandson, were reinterred with full Islamic burial rites in 1942, the Germans surrendered at Stalingrad.
