Subtitles?

assuming they do what they did in ETW/NTW the entire game will be voiced in Japanese, will they at least add subtitles to some parts of the game so we know wth their saying

I somehow tend to believe it will suddenly be english with idiotic "japanese" accent.

Like the rape of ears they did in MTW 2

Maybe It'll be like in the original Shogun, where you had both english and japanese voices.

I mean, in Empire they had plenty of different voices, except for the advisors, so I don't see why not.

The pre-historical battle videos like in NTW should be English-talking with Japanese accents. In game unit talking (again in NTW) should be with Japanese.
But ancient Japanese is slightly different to the modern version, though.

Probably, would be the best solution.
In STW you could select japanese or your local language (english, french, italian, german, ...) with optional subtitles if you prefered the japanese setting.

I prefered native langs in M2TW, but here...I'd say idiotic Anglo-Jap. Just to speeches, ofc.

generals on the field exchange words dynamically before the battle starts, speaking in Japanese with full English subtitles, with the option of English voice acting being included in the final product.
