Sega has already announced a few days ago Shogun 2 - Total. Now the guys from IGN had the first opportunity to allude Shogun 2 and some details to reveal. So it goes back to Japan in the 16th Century. With the Onin War, Japan is devastated and politically not run everything, as it should be. Now you come into play and can choose from nine different warlords to reunite Japan. Every warlord has different starting conditions and own advantages and disadvantages. Compared to its predecessor, the developers have somewhat scaled back the number of units, however, the current units have clearer differences than in previous Total War games.
All units can be upgraded in the course of the game - you can even equip generals with objects. Completely new are the heroes who can send any warlord in the war. These heroes come from Japanese mythology and should therefore not be all that some unknown. If a hero in the enemy ranks cleans up, it is recommended that all units separately squads or even one's own hero on him to rush. The battle on water will be again here.
When Shogun 2 appears, is still unknown.
