FAQ - Problems running NTF

Have you installed mod in right place (....\napoleon total war\)? Mod command should be erased by itself from user script. If not that means that either you closed NTF launcher before you close the game or your antivirus has deleted some important exe of the mod. NTF does not messes with units and such so has nothing to do with your battle bug.

Well what it does is that i start the NTF 3.4 then when i click what i want to play it says it cannot find napoleon.exe and yeah i installed it in the right place. L:/steam/steamapps/common/napoleon total war. Tho the othe bugs im experiencing with Napoleon total war must be from some other problem so nvm that but still i dont get why i cant use the NTF. Would be strange if my anti virus does that cause it never did before

If you have data_NTF folder in L:/steam/steamapps/common/napoleon total war directory then it is a strange problem because I suppose that also Napoleon.exe is there (else the game wouldn't run at all). There is something that prevents a program execute another one. Disable temporarily antivirus and check to now if it is because if that. Did you try run mod as Administrator?

When I end my session and close the user face it wipes my user script. I know you have a fix could you give it to me and put it in the FAQ please

The exe that makes a backup of your user script probably has been deleted by your anti virus during mod's installation. Here is a fix: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...83#post8319583

I am trying to make an interface using only Visual Basic and without using any batch scripts which activate some anti virus and delete critical files. I believe soon I'll update NTF too.

I have installed the ntf. But when i try to run the "europe" game from the launcher it says it is missing the ntf_ui.pack???

If you have the latest version of NTF (3.5), check if the file exists in ...\empire total war\NTF\Files\ folder. If not reinstall mod files.

hey, i downloaded and reinstalled ntf but every time i press europe windows cant find 3 files, is there a fix fer this?

I downloaded NTF 3.5. followed all instructions, uninstalled the last version, made sure user script was empty, installed in the right directory, but the mod wont start, i know the desktop shortcut doesnt work, so i tried to start it right from the exe, nothing happened. please help, i used 2.7 before and worked fine, but i would like to use the newest version.

In latest release is in [NTW]\NTF\files. You should not add an entry for NTF there..

cant find that either

i got the Pack File Manager but when i put it up it just dosnt find it, i copied this [NTW]\NTF\files. and pasted it and it said that Path does not excist....
i hv the mod version NTF_2
