So with the new release of Shogun I have been listening to Japanese related music. Mine isn't exactly Japanese but I love it none the less. Post some good songs that have something to do with Japanese/Samurai culture. These songs can be any genre, as I am about to show you now.

Something along the lines of this, again this could be the sound track of any film, just watched "Ran" film upon a suggestion of one of the forum members. Would like this music when your marching your samurais to the enemy, or discovering an enemy army or something!

samisen ( a stringed instrument like a guitar)

The Sakura is the name for the cherry blossoms that bloom and fall so easily by the wind in three days. They are metaphors for the lives of the samurai so easily cast away in beauty and without regret for a chance for honour and service. All Japanese know this analogy, and it would greatly add to the music of STW2.

no its not cool,
I think Jeff would add peacefull japanese music instruments for the main theme and woman vocals for the credit theme.
thats what he did with the most credit theme's, take a look on youtube for Rome total war credit theme or Medieval 2 credit theme.
