Default Wishlist for Shogun II: Total War

Maybe one is still existing or done, but it must be somewhere sunken and I won't dig up after long search ....

My whishlist for Shogun 2 is:

    1.) Full modding possibilities
    2. The old reinforcement system of RTW and Med2TW or even better, but not again that crap in ETW/ NTW!
3.) Smart AI (CAI and BAI)
    4.) Hotseat Modus
5.) Huge diplomacy menue with many options and smart options to choose!
    6.) Nice artwork at units
7.) A good trading and merchant system, including taxing etc.
8.) A big campaign map of Japan minimum, many provinces too!
9.) Not only few MP battle maps!
10.) A map editor for battle maps as it was given with RTW
11.) High game depth which is not only superficial
12.) Some historical events implemented, not only a message
13.) Better setting of difficult degree's that please fans and casuals, no compromise only!
14.) No science fiction stuff or ahistorcal nonsense please!
15.) A better Rebellion system with more background and deeper impact
(not only angry population, some useless (ETW) or overpowered (NTW) Rebells and thats it!)
16.) Siege battles must be splitted. If a fortress, than really a fortress. if a town, than please a really town!
17.) Shore and offshore naval battles
18.) epic general speeches + epic sound and music
19.) good campaign Addons, that are not only a single mini campaign, they should be implemented to the grand campaign (for example later Korea too or so).
20.) please not a remake of the melee acting of RTW and Med2, a new and epic one during battles!

    Good optimization
Stick with empire's region management system with the villages
    Pre-battle speeches and ASSASSINATION VIDEOS
Units have to feel unique in their roles
    Multiplayer modes including campaign
More regions, like korea and part of china (could be as an expansion pack)
Great music (Jeff van Dyk is confirmed to be working on it, so I shouldn't worry too much about it)

    EDIT: Oh, and moddeability!

21.) Sack the whole idea of farms, etc. out of the city, it becomes a razefest. Bring it back to the way it was in Rome and M2.

Wishlist for Shogun Total War: 22. Correct spelling.
Little subtle hint at something above the thread.

I'd love to see naval landings. Basically assaulting a land army or castle (that's on or near a beach/coast) from the sea a la Troy (the movie). No, I don't care if it's unrealistic.

Sounds good .... because THIS I'm really missing at ETW! I will only remember of that battle of Bunker hill in RTI 3 and the ships in the background. If now here having a fortress with scting ships and so on, will be epic ....

    23) hope they make a good gamplay and great graphics, not only one of it. Heard there was about 57.000 soldiers on one battle, hope they work on graphics either

Well, if they`d manage to make a good a.i and a good diplomacy system i could live with Rome graphics. Or ascii graphics.

Modding tools most definitely. Not for me of course but for people that can mod. Many units.Dismemberment, bloody fighting, and arrows that stay in body's.

Good animations and graphics while being well-optimised, much better AI and more immersive.

Interesting dynastic politics. If I have a general that goes out and conquers half of the map, while my own daimyo just sits back and does nothing, I should damn well be looking at a civil war. It should help keep the game interesting even as you march across the map, and make the end game better.

Having the ability to try and assassinate heirs, and have them go berserk if they survive, would also be great. Political marriages should definitely be in, and should mean something.

    Loads of minor factions
    Better control of vassals

    1) Modding Potential
    2) Modding Potential
    3) Modding Potential
    4) Adaptive systems; even if they have modding potential if the clan mechanics are as hardcoded as the Pope in M2 there will be very little to work with. Hopefully the systems they build use the methodology of modular expansion rather than being one chunk of code that can be used one way.

I'm unconcerned about tools such as editors. Converters and a file structure that makes sense and is editable either via plaintext formats, XML, or some programming language like C++ is fine with me.

Its not very logical, make a stupid decision that risks more of your more men and have your samarui fight less getting less experience - but somehow making them better?
